Not uncommon to experience blood clots in cancer

Lynn has always considered herself a very healthy and active person, and she never expected to be told she had cancer. It came as a complete shock. Before her cancer treatment, she was given pamphlets about the possible side effects of chemotherapy. Her advice to newly diagnosed cancer patients is to keep exploring and to keep going back to the doctor. Patients should not be afraid to be persistent when the signs of a potential blood clot are present. In her case, the signs were there but were not interpreted in the right way.
